There has been much excitement around the New 2010 Chevrolet Camaro.  The Glockner GM Super Store would like to inform the public with the latest information about the Camaro.

There will be several different models available to the buying public.  The base model is the Camaro LS with the 3.6 liter V6 with 300HP.  Additionally you can upgrade from a LS to a 1LT and a 2LT package.  Available options vary depending on which equipment you choose.

The most anticipated Camaro is the SS (Super Sport).  It comes with a 6.2 liter V8 with a 6 speed automatic transmission with Tap Shift controls that produces 400HP.  The upgrade on the SS Camaro would be 6.2 liter V8 with a 6 speed manual transmission that produces 422HP. 

Other options and upgrades include a standard 19” wheel to a 20” wheel, RS (Rally Sport) Appearance Pkg, Sunroof, Boston Acoustic 9 speaker premium sound system, and Blue Tooth for Phone. Also GM is producing many GM factory accessories to make the Camaro your own.  You can add: Spoiler, different colored Engine Covers, Ground Effects, Hurst Shifter, 21” wheels, Rally/Hood/Hockey stripes.  Onstar is standard plus the 3 year 36,000 mile factory warranty and 5 year 100,000 mile power train warranty. 

March 16th, 2009 is the first day of production of the Camaro and there will be a very limited availability. GM has indicated that over 10 thousand units have been sold, and with the majority of the sales being SS model Camaro’s.  Introduction of the convertible Camaro is in the works but has been delayed until 2010.

MSRP on the Camaro will range from $22,995 to $33,995.
